Going Away Party Full of Cupcakes…
In honor of a co-worker moving onto a new career, I decided that the perfect treat for the occasion would be cupcakes and lots of them! I knew that he already eats and likes pretty much any kind of treat that I bring in (except delicious Strawberry treats, what?!) so I decided to make a batch of my Chocolate Cupcakes with Chocolate Buttercream and Chocolate Sprinkles (I’m coining them as Chocolate³ ). Every chocolate lover out there will love this cupcake! I knew though that just one kind wouldn’t be enough so I also made my famous “Smore’s Cupcake”. I know, it’s a bit odd, but I can turn S’more’s haters into S’mores lovers with this cupcake, it’s that unexpectedly awesome! Check out my pics below and by the way, my office loved the cupcakes (the S’mores CC’s were gone 1st!). I also made an awesome Oreo Dream Dessert, seriously though, I dream about this with just one taste (who wouldn’t though with layers of cool whip, cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and Oreos??!!).

Simpsonville Farmer’s Market is CLOSED this weekend for 4th of July Celebrations!
I hope everyone has a safe and wonderful 4th of July weekend! We will see you all back at the Simpsonville Farmer’s Market on July 11th from 8am to Noon! As for me, I am taking the weekend OFF! My last cupcake order will be delivered this evening and after that I am getting some much needed relaxation!

Last week off and my 1st Drawing!
Don’t worry Handmade by Marlena fans, this is my last week off for healing my foot, doctor’s orders! (let’s just say, I CANNOT wait to get this air cast off, it’s hot!!) I will be ready to sell lots of cupcakes, cookies, and French Macarons next week! I am also bringing a NEW French treat to the Farmer’s market next Saturday the 20th!
Check this out…I’m having my 1st drawing! Everyone has been so great and supportive that I feel like I should give a little back! Special Orders
Hey HbyM followers!
Even though I’ve been on limited mobility (stress fracture in my foot) I can still fulfill a few special orders each weekend! Today I had a sweet client pick up a dozen of Coconut French Macarons – special orders are $18 a dozen, call/text/email/message me anytime to pick up your favorite flavor, I’ll deliver too! Check out the pics…
Tomorrow I will post a sweet birthday cake fit for a princess!

Still on limited mobility…
Handmade by Marlena is still on limited mobility. Marlena has graduated from a special orthodic no bend shoe to an air cast. Her specialist says no extra activities while in in the air cast (i.e. no selling at the Farmer’s Market for a few weeks). Though it sounds like she may have extra help next week, but if it falls through we will update you as soon as we know. Pray for fast healing of her foot, as she is having a hard time with just sitting around the house being unproductive!
Limited special orders are still being taken, so please don’t hesitate to call/text/email/message her!

Absent this weekend
Hey Followers! This weekend Handmade by Marlena will be taking time off Saturday from selling at the Simpsonville Farmer’s Market. Marlena, Head Baker/Owner, has a stress fracture in her right foot! Hopefully some rest and relaxation will get her back up on her feet for next weekend’s market!
